Andre Russell, a native of Philadelphia, known as the city of Brotherly Love, is shaped by his Jamaican heritage. His father, a skilled engineer and drummer, and his mother, a compassionate nurse and chef, have instilled in him a deep appreciation for caring for others and the arts. He acquired his love for the Performing arts at the tender age of 3 and hasn't stopped since. He is an international award-winning artist with 15+ years in the Theatre Industry. As the Co-founder and Artistic Director of Invision Theatre Company he “envisioned” a company that can showcase diversity, hire local talent, and craft compelling visual performances. He seamlessly navigates both onstage and behind the scenes, sometimes doing both. With seven years of experience directing over 5,000 students at Next Stop Broadway, he excels in engaging young minds in the arts. He is forever grateful to have Andrew by his side as they embark on a journey to impact, inspire and see beyond the norm in the entertainment industry.
